Creating the design for a new artist's debut album requires a strong visual presentation - with Western Massachusetts-based Jerry Ezold it was no different. To start, Jerry gave me a photo of the mountains near where he lives and wanted to create a textured cover focused on unforgettable typography.

After a couple of different iterations, we landed on the mixed type of serif font with the elegance of a script font to carry the weight of the stylized elements that replicate the textured sonic scape he created in the album.
